Danish Rhubarb Cake - A Traditional No Bake Cake - Rabarberkage During the summer nothing is better than making a no bake cake on a hot day. I decided to make this traditional Danish rhubarb cake because it does not require baking at all. Plus, I have so much rhubarb in my garden that it is a perfect summer dessert too. During the fall I make the same cake version but with apples. ♥ Rhubarb Ingredients ♥ 4 1/2 cups of fresh sliced rhubarb 1 1/4 cup of sugar or to taste 1 tablespoon of cornstarch 1/2 a cup of water 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract cornstarch optional add cinnamon ♥ Toasted Breadcrumbs Ingredients ♥ 1 1/2 cups of breadcrumbs 5 tablespoons of butter 1/2 a cup of sugar ♥ Decorating Rhubarb Ingredients ♥ Fresh Whipped Cream Sliced Strawberries Enjoy this tasty traditional dessert with a cup of coffee, tea or your favorite beverage. ♥ We hope you enjoyed our video and recipe! ♥ Give us thumbs up if you like this video & subscribe for more videos.
