Make It Fly: Building The Lobst'Air

Swiss Solar Boat is a team of 75 students united by one mission: pushing the boundaries of sustainable marine innovation. From building the world’s first foiling proa to completing a crossing across Lake Geneva powered entirely by renewable energy, the team continues to explore what clean nautical technology can achieve. This documentary follows the development of The Lobst'Air, our latest Renewable Energy Foiler, as we prepare for the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge 2026. Through technical setbacks, ambitious goals, and long nights of production, the project became more than a competition entry: it became a collective journey driven by passion, resilience, and teamwork.
