My Chemical Romance Perform “Welcome to the Black Parade” Live at Hollywood Bowl | October 21 2026

My Chemical Romance perform “Welcome to the Black Parade” live at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 21, 2026. 🖤 The performance came on opening night of MCR’s five-show Hollywood Bowl run as part of “The Black Parade 2026,” celebrating 20 years of the band’s landmark third studio album. Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Frank Iero and Mikey Way brought “The Black Parade” back to Los Angeles for one of the final runs of the anniversary tour. Released in 2006, “Welcome to the Black Parade” became My Chemical Romance’s defining anthem and one of the biggest songs of the emo and alternative rock era. The track reached No. 1 in the UK and became the band’s highest-charting song on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 9. Two decades later, hearing that opening piano note at the Hollywood Bowl still gets an immediate reaction. “Welcome to the Black Parade” remains at the center of MCR’s legacy, and the band is marking the album’s 20th anniversary with a new deluxe edition of “The Black Parade” featuring rare B-sides and previously unreleased live recordings. The October 21 concert kicked off a five-night run for My Chemical Romance at the Hollywood Bowl, with additional Los Angeles shows scheduled throughout October.
