SDA 2023 Round 1 Innerleithen Downhill Race Day

The 2023 Scottish Downhill Series presented by Green Power has begun. Round 1 at Innerleithen was the ideal start to the season. The weather was good, the track was prime and had something for everyone, the camping field was rammed, and the uplift ran smoothly. Come race day, spectators, photographers and our video man Luke from Badger Productions were out in force. Even the sun made an appearance, all we needed now was to get racing! After a handful of red flags early on, everyone got into the rhythm and the rest of Sunday got better, the track dried out and times got tighter and faster with some great battles across most categories. Our Start Fitness podiums showed who some of the riders to watch this season are! From young riders just getting going to Elites and world cup riders like Pheobe Gale and Danny Hart who keep coming back to the SDAs! A big thanks to our existing and new sponsors this year for your support and keeping our series evolving.
