I ranked every Horde Siege class in Gears of War: E-Day — and I've got some real concerns about the mode's longevity heading into launch. Horde Siege is a great take on Horde and I've enjoyed it a lot. That's exactly why I want to talk about it. There's a difference between a mode that's fun for a beta weekend and one people are still playing in six months. Class rankings in this video: Medic is the strongest by a mile and it isn't close. Marksman is great and serviceable. Breacher has potential but the grind to level 9 is brutal and the Gnasher is the weakest weapon in the mode. Assault sits somewhere in the middle with high upside. Beyond the classes I get into weapon mods versus the old skill card system, why team play with 12 players feels soulless, the perk system, weapon part economy, and the big one — what actually happens at level 30 when there's no leaderboard and no rewards to hook you back in.
