The exact date of the record is hard to tell because Zambia Music Parlour didn't date their records very often. If I were to guess, it would be after 1985. I was very lucky to get such a clean copy of this catchy tune. Kanyula band is another one of the large group of bands from the late 80's that I've found it hard to find information about. So far, only two items from their discography have been documented, this single and their 1989 album, Legani Mama. Kanyula Band members included Frank Banda (Lead guitar & Vocals), Mike Tembo (Rhythm guitar), Eddy (Backing Vocals), Joseph Mwamba (Bass guitar) and Mungule (Drums).
