Someone Took a Shower—But NO ONE Was in the House?!

This real ghost story comes from Colombia, where one night a caller and her mother are awakened by the unmistakable sound of their front door opening and slamming shut. At first, they assume her uncle has come home. Then they hear heavy footsteps crossing the tiled floor outside their bedroom—boots that sound exactly like the kind he normally wears. There’s just one problem: when her mother calls him, he answers from somewhere else. Now they believe there may be an intruder in the house. The footsteps continue toward the bathroom. Then they hear the shower handle turn and water begin hitting the tile. A short time later, the refrigerator opens and closes several times, as though whoever entered the house has decided to take a shower and help themselves to something to eat. The two stay frozen in the bedroom, listening. Then everything suddenly stops. No footsteps leave. The front door never opens again. And the shower goes silent. Finally, her mother grabs a pipe and they search the house room by room. Nobody is there. The next morning, however, things aren’t exactly as they left them. The normally open shower curtain is closed. Shampoo bottles have been knocked onto their sides. Items inside the refrigerator—including eggs and milk—have been moved around. What makes the experience even stranger is that the family doesn’t consider the house haunted. Despite its age, they never experience anything else like it before or after that night. So what came through the door? A real intruder who somehow vanished? A spirit briefly acting out an ordinary routine? Or something else entirely? #GhostStories #TrueParanormal #RealGhostStories #PhantomFootsteps #HauntedHouse #GhostEncounter #UnseenPresence #CreepyPodcast Join Our Patreon:   / realghoststories   Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video?
