The Days We Make Together | 12 New Songs with a Vintage Heart

A free day and a folded map. A note inside a book. A paper aeroplane crossing the kitchen, a repaired sail catching the wind, and a conversation that can wait until tomorrow. The Days We Make Together brings twelve newly created, vintage-inspired compositions from Satin Street Records: eleven English vocal songs and one instrumental, drawing on the warmth of the 1960s and the gentle soul of the early 1970s. Melodic soul-pop, small-combo swing and intimate folk-soul meet a romantic cha-cha duet, coastal acoustic pop, bright rhythm and blues and a sea-glass-coloured bolero-jazz instrumental. Close expressive voices, memorable refrains and restrained backing harmonies give each little story room to breathe. Meet two shy readers, a woman opening her own bicycle shop, an old friend found through the classifieds and a man learning to float. There is room for a first invitation, a kind goodbye and the simple happiness of making time for someone. The adventures don't have to be grand to matter. ♫ TRACKLIST 00:00 — The Days We Make Together 05:33 — The Bookshop Keeps a Secret 09:39 — My Daughter's Paper Aeroplane 14:21 — I Asked Him First 18:30 — You Like the City, I Like the Shore 23:05 — The Woman Who Mended the Sail 27:42 — Sea-Glass Serenade — Instrumental 31:41 — The Day I Learned to Float 36:10 — Not Every Goodbye Needs a Rainy Day 41:33 — A Message in the Classifieds 46:22 — My Name on the Shopfront 50:28 — When You Fell Asleep Mid-Story These are newly created songs with original lyrics and AI-assisted music and visuals, inspired by vintage musical styles.
