Land-Rover Series 1 Enthusiasts New Zealand - Hurunui - North Canterbury

This video is of the ‘Land-Rover Series 1 Enthusiasts New Zealand’ trip in North Canterbury in November 2024 capturing 19 pre-1958 Land-Rovers in their natural environment - traversing 4 High-Country Stations in the Hurunui District – North Canterbury at the top of Te Waipounamu, New Zealand’s South Island. I had the great privilege of travelling with a local identity – Dick Nurse, who has spent most of his 70+ years living and working in the Hurunui district. With the SONY Video Camera going most of the time attached to the inside of the windscreen I inadvertently captured our conversation as we travelled through an area that Dick knew and loves so much. I am so pleased that I captured our casual conversation to preserve snippets of a man’s life living and working is such a hard and remote environment. I hope you enjoy watching the vehicles in the stunning scenery and listening to one of life’s great character’s.
