A Marine captain vanishes at Quantico. No body. No weapon. And then agents find a chilling 26-step plan on a forgotten floppy disk. The FBI Files retraces the disappearance of Captain Shirley Gibbs Russell in 1989 and the relentless investigation that followed. From a suspicious stain scrubbed with muriatic acid and a blue station wagon seen at a storage shed, to abandoned Pennsylvania mineshafts and a .25 caliber Raven, every clue points somewhere unexpected. Step inside a rare no-body homicide case built from pure circumstantial evidence and methodical FBI work. See how investigators connected stalking, forged timelines, and a hidden journal call to a shocking discovery that changed the case. Watch to uncover how the pieces finally fit together.
