Seeburg Background Music- Green E- EPs 2, 6, 10, 14, 18

Before the Seeburg 1000 became the famous 16⅔ RPM background music system, Seeburg ran an earlier, much less documented service using 7-inch 45 RPM Green Label “E” series EPs—pressed for lease (not retail sale) and played on the Seeburg 200LU, a 100-record continuous-play background music library unit used in commercial settings. These discs were service items marked “NOT FOR SALE” and were theoretically returned and destroyed after each service period, which is why surviving examples are scarce. Track listing (this documented set: 2, 6, 10, 14, 18): 2-E / 2-EX: You’re Just In Love; El Choclo; The Swan / The Party’s Over; One Love; Baby, It’s Cold Outside 6-E / 6-EX: Mama’s Gone Goodbye; Flame Of Love; Johnson Rag / Stranger In Paradise; Vaya Con Dios; When My Sugar Walks Down The Street 10-E / 10-EX: Dearly Beloved; My Foolish Heart; Feather Your Nest / Dearie; Tell Me; Lilette 14-E / 14-EX: Song Of The Islands; Don’t Say You Love Me; Get Happy / Mutual Admiration Society; Almost Paradise; We’re In The Money 18-E / 18-EX: Love You Didn’t Do Right; Till We Meet Again; Hometown / Lilacs In The Rain; Hungarian Dance #5; It’s A Lovely Day Today In 1959, Seeburg replaced this 45 RPM library approach with the Seeburg 1000’s 9-inch 16⅔ RPM format, which offered far more music per side and made the older 100-disc 45 RPM libraries obsolete. #Seeburg #Seeburg200LU #Seeburg1000 #BackgroundMusic #45RPM #AudioHistory #JukeboxHistory #RecordCollectors A reminder about the exclusive benefits available for supporting World Of Budget Vinyl Records: Consider becoming a patron on Patreon at   / budgetvinylworld  .
