Egypt Nov 2023

We travelled to Egypt in November 2023 after much consideration due to the conflict in Gaza. A lifelong dream, we did not want to miss seeing the wonders that Egypt holds, so we kept to our plan and arrived in Cairo on 8 November. Crowd numbers were less than we were expecting, due to people cancelling, which was great for us, but not good for the Egyptian people who rely on the tourists - walking ATMs. We explored Cairo and its marvels, Luxor and also Hurghada on the Red Sea. We loved this raw, gritty, unpolished country and we are already talking about returning.
