Delhi’s rising rent is becoming a major concern for college students, especially those living in areas like Satya Niketan. After the MCD sealed several PGs over safety and building-related concerns, many students were forced to look for new accommodation. But with rents already high and some landlords increasing the rent further, students are struggling to afford a place to stay. In this ground report, we speak to DU students about how expensive accommodation is affecting their daily lives, their families and even their education.
