Indian security forces have eliminated seven terrorists in a major counter-terror crackdown in Jammu and Kashmir, concluding a relentless 326-day-long high-altitude operation in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar. The intelligence-led mission, spearheaded by the White Knight Corps along with J&K Police and CRPF, resulted in the killing of three Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists on February 22, including a top commander. Heavy arms, AK-47 rifles and war-like stores were recovered. Advanced surveillance, drones and UAVs played a key role. The Army termed it a massive blow to terror networks.
