History awakens! WW2 1942 US Navy Briggs model Z runs again

This is a Briggs & Stratton model Z that was used by the US Navy. The factory gray painted engines were for naval use. This was on a large air compressor unit. My friend Loren bought it years ago and had it running at shows. It has sat for about 10 years. It needed the points cleaned and the points plunger freed up. Also made a new gasket for the glass fuel bowl. It starts right up now and runs well. #antique #vintage #engine #history
