The Dolomites are a mountain range in northeastern Italy that form part of the Southern Limestone Alps. They’re made of a rock called dolostone, which is relatively light in color and produces large vertical cliffs and other unique structures. And, they became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009 for their unique geological history and stunning natural beauty. The whole area is a spectacular place to see, for sure, and I hope you enjoy this look at it.
