Round 7 of the ANIMUS CUP takes us to Interlagos — and the result took a stewards' review to settle. 🏆 Hedempti takes the win ⚡ Hedempti also sets the fastest lap — 1:09.117 🥉 lakaka completes the podium after a storming drive from P6 🔥 Hedempti holds off LethalCurrent by just 3.561 seconds after a race-long fight for the lead But the final classification only tells part of the story. Lap 1 sees Hedempti and LethalCurrent go wheel to wheel into Turn 1 — contact is made, but the stewards call it a shared racing incident and hand out no further action. Tuga52 picks up a warning of his own for late braking and forcing another driver off track on the same lap. Manuè falls apart from there. A Lap 8 dive-bomb into Tuga earns him 5 seconds, then a Lap 12 rear-ending of Hedempti adds another 10 — 15 seconds in penalties in total, dropping him from P4 to P5 and promoting AwfulBurger in the process. Further back, B7GABZ and X64X come together hard on Lap 15 in the biggest impact of the race, both losing a lap as a result. And in the fight for P5, AwfulBurger and lucTky trade the position four times in ten seconds before it's finally settled by a hundredth of a second. Did the stewards make the right calls?
