Ep 01 | We Had No Idea What We Were Getting Into..

5 friends. 7 days. Bihar to Kerala. And honestly… things went wrong almost from the beginning. 😂 The plan sounded simple — travel from Bihar to Kerala, explore Munnar, Alleppey and Varkala, and come back with some good memories. Reality was a little different. We started from Patna and took the Vande Bharat to Howrah, where another friend joined us. From Kolkata, we flew to Bangalore, picked up our fifth friend and then took the train from Bangalore to Kochi. And that's where the first disaster happened. We somehow left the bags of TWO friends behind. 😭 Imagine starting a 7-day trip without your clothes, accessories and half the things you thought you'd need. Somehow, these two survived the trip with whatever they had on them. 😂 Then came the journey towards Munnar. At one point, all of our phones were almost completely discharged, and we were relying on maps to navigate. Suddenly, no phones + unfamiliar roads + 3 rented scooties = we were basically lost. And then, completely unexpectedly, we found a hidden mobile charging port on one of the scooties. That tiny charging port genuinely saved the trip. 😂 From there, the journey turned into exactly what we wanted. We rode through the mountains, passed endless tea plantations, chased waterfalls and explored some incredible parts of Kerala. We visited Athirapally Waterfalls, the massive waterfall that you might recognise from Baahubali, explored the backwaters of Alleppey, and eventually made our way to the beaches and cliffs of Varkala. But some of the best moments weren't even the famous tourist spots. It was stopping randomly, talking to locals, figuring out where to go next, eating along the way, getting lost, helping each other out and just enjoying the fact that five friends were somewhere completely different from home. No perfect itinerary. No luxury travel. Just 5 friends trying to figure things out as we went. This is our Bihar to Kerala journey — from trains and flights to scooties, mountains, waterfalls, backwaters and beaches.
