Closing Ceremony

The Closing Ceremony comes from the Mexican midwifery tradition, often called the Closing of the Bones. It gently closes what pregnancy and birth open so wide and it completes the birthing process energetically, physically, and emotionally. The ceremony weaves involves, among others, the wrapping of the whole body in a rebozo, a traditional woven shawl, from head to toe which is an opportunity to feel held and come back to yourself. You do not have to be a new mother to receive it. The ceremony can meet any threshold that wants to be met, a loss, an ending, a passage of your own.
