The FULL Durango & Silverton Railroad Experience! - Riding in a First Class Glass-Top Train Car!

The Full Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Experience is a spectacularly gorgeous 9 hour adventure through the Rocky Mountains (specifically the San Juan Mountains and the San Juan National Forest) where you get to enjoy what is easily the best train ride I have EVER been on in America! And in this video, you can come along for the whole journey to enjoy the unbelievable views and vistas that truly have to be seen to be believed. Going on the Steam Train version of the ride, we get to take the First Class open-air Silver Vista car to get a truly unique experience because that train car has a glass ceiling, leaving every view unobstructed (and believe me, for 9 hours it is NON-STOP views!). The whole journey starts from Durango with a 3 and half hour ride up to Silverton. Once there, you stop for 2 hours giving you time to explore, get some lunch and take in the town. Then of course, you get to enjoy the full 3 and half hour journey back. But believe me again, there are new sights and angles to see that you don’t want to miss! And if this wasn’t all enough, the whole journey concludes with getting to explore the FREE Durango & Silvertown Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum.
