CUT MUSIC – “Home” | Bradford Buttershaw Business & Enterprise College x West Yorkshire Police Welcome to CUT MUSIC, a powerful youth music project tackling knife crime and gang culture through creativity, rap, and songwriting. This project, in collaboration with Bradford Buttershaw Business & Enterprise College and West Yorkshire Police, gave young people the opportunity to express their thoughts, experiences, and hopes for a safer future through music. Their original song, “Home,” is a moving and hard-hitting piece that reflects on the realities of knife crime, the impact on communities, and the importance of finding a place of safety and belonging. Through writing, recording, and performing this track, these students have found their voice—raising awareness and inspiring change.
