1st Streamerversary day 3, The Future of the Forest and Hardcore LOTRO part 3 (Cozy VOD)

Today we wrapped up our 1st Twitch Anniversary celebration week! A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of this past year and made the forest what it is. We spent most of the stream doing what we apparently do best: yapping. We looked toward the future of the forest, talked about what's coming next, and generally had a lovely time together. The important takeaway is that I'm not going anywhere! DriftingFurby will continue, there will be plenty more streams and adventures to come, and we've already got some fun Halloween-vibey games on the horizon. Of course, we couldn't end the anniversary celebration without some hardcore LOTRO. Our dwarf hunter Groundbeef, whose name I only realized I had actually misspelled as Grounbeef, did not survive the stream. He sadly met his end at the hands of some goblins. RIP Grounbeef. We did not mourn for long, though. We immediately created a new character: an elf champion! He managed to make it through the intro and is now ready for his next adventure. How long will he survive? We'll find out next time. And yes, that sounds ominous. It is. The biggest threat to my hardcore characters isn't necessarily the enemies. It's apparently my inability to continuously pay attention and focus for extended periods of time. Which, as it turns out, is a pretty significant problem in a game where dying means starting over.
