Telangana’s Healthcare Spending for the Poor Highest in the Country: CM Revanth Reddy at TIMS Launch

Healthcare for the poor has received the highest-ever allocation in the country from the Telangana People’s Government, Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy said. Over the past 32 months, ₹5,226 crore was spent through Aarogyasri and CMRF, while ₹21,800 crore was spent on the Medical and Health Department. The newly constructed Dr Marri Channa Reddy Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (Dr MCR TIMS) Hospital at Sanathnagar was inaugurated by the Chief Minister. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, MLAs, MLCs and local leaders attended the programme. The Chief Minister inspected the token dispenser, OP counter, post-operative ward, trauma unit and operation theatres, and issued directions to officials before addressing the gathering at the TIMS premises. TIMS has been established to provide corporate-level healthcare to the poor at affordable cost. The Telangana People’s Government is completing projects that were earlier limited to foundation stones and making quality medical services available to the people. With TIMS hospitals at Sanathnagar, LB Nagar and Alwal, along with the Warangal hospitals, a total of 10,000 beds will become available. The government aims to complete the Osmania, LB Nagar, Alwal and Warangal hospitals by December 9, 2027. Each hospital will have a dedicated director and be managed on corporate lines, with facilities for patients’ attendants. Incentives will also be provided to super-speciality doctors who dedicate additional hours to government hospitals. Education and healthcare are being given top priority, with steps underway to provide nursing students with quality education and skill development, enabling them to access opportunities in countries such as Germany and Japan. పేదల ఆరోగ్య సంరక్షణ కోసం తెలంగాణ ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం చేసిన ఖర్చు దేశంలోనే అత్యధికమని, ఇది గర్వకారణమని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత గడిచిన 32 నెలల్లో ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ, సీఎంఆర్ఎఫ్ ద్వారా పేదల ఆరోగ్యం కోసం రూ.5,226 కోట్లు, వైద్య ఆరోగ్య శాఖ కోసం మొత్తం రూ.21,800 కోట్లు ఖర్చు చేసినట్లు తెలిపారు. సనత్‌నగర్‌లో నూతనంగా నిర్మించిన డాక్టర్ మర్రి చెన్నారెడ్డి తెలంగాణ ఇనిస్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ మెడికల్ సైన్సెస్ (డా. ఎంసీఆర్ టిమ్స్) ఆసుపత్రిని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ప్రారంభించారు. కార్యక్రమంలో ఉపముఖ్యమంత్రి మల్లు భట్టి విక్రమార్క గారు, మంత్రులు దామోదర రాజనర్సింహ గారు, కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకట్ రెడ్డి గారు, పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ గారు, ఎంపీ అనిల్ కుమార్ యాదవ్ గారు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, ఎమ్మెల్సీలు, స్థానిక నాయకులు పాల్గొన్నారు. ప్రారంభోత్సవంలో టిమ్స్‌లోని టోకెన్ డిస్పెన్సర్, ఓపీ కౌంటర్, పోస్ట్ ఆపరేషన్ వార్డు, ట్రామా విభాగం, ఆపరేషన్ థియేటర్లను ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పరిశీలించి అధికారులకు పలు సూచనలు చేశారు. అనంతరం టిమ్స్ ప్రాంగణంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన సభలో ప్రసంగించారు. ప్రైవేటు వైద్యం ఖరీదైన పరిస్థితుల్లో పేదలకు కార్పొరేట్ స్థాయి వైద్యం అందించేందుకు టిమ్స్‌ను అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకొచ్చామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు తెలిపారు. గతంలో శంకుస్థాపనలకే పరిమితమైన టిమ్స్, వరంగల్ ఆసుపత్రుల పనులను తెలంగాణ ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం పూర్తి చేసి వైద్య సేవలను అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకొస్తోందని చెప్పారు. సనత్‌నగర్‌తో పాటు ఎల్బీనగర్, అల్వాల్ టిమ్స్, వరంగల్ ఆసుపత్రులు పూర్తయితే మొత్తం 10 వేల పడకల వైద్య సదుపాయం అందుబాటులోకి వస్తుందని తెలిపారు. 2027 డిసెంబర్ 9 నాటికి ఉస్మానియా, ఎల్బీనగర్, అల్వాల్, వరంగల్ ఆసుపత్రులను పూర్తి చేయాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. ప్రతి ఆసుపత్రికి ప్రత్యేక డైరెక్టర్‌ను నియమించి కార్పొరేట్ తరహాలో నిర్వహణ చేపడతామని, రోగుల అటెండెంట్లకు అవసరమైన సౌకర్యాలు కల్పిస్తామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు తెలిపారు. ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రుల్లో అదనపు సమయం కేటాయించే సూపర్ స్పెషాలిటీ వైద్యులకు ప్రోత్సాహకాలు అందించేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని సూచించారు. విద్య, వైద్య రంగాలకు ప్రభుత్వం అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తోందని, నర్సింగ్ విద్యార్థులకు జర్మనీ, జపాన్ వంటి దేశాల్లోని అవకాశాలను అందిపుచ్చుకునేలా నాణ్యమైన విద్య, నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధికి చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు తెలిపారు. #CMRevanthReddy #DrMCRTIMS #Healthcare #TIMS #TIMSHospital #Sanathnagar #Hyderabad #Telangana #HealthcareForAll #RajivAarogyasri #CMRF #RevanthReddy #MalluBhattiVikramarka #DamodarRajanarsimha #KomatireddyVenkatReddy #PonnamPrabhakar
