92 key Mortier organ no.142 the "JCB Mortier"

This organ was originally built as a more traditional 1930s orchestrion, with hidden percussion and a wood-finish front. It was imported into the UK by Grymonprez who fitted it with a front made up of various old bits and pieces - with what look to be the central/side pillars of Mortier 1084. Since then the front was altered a further 2/3 times. For many years it was owned by JC Bamford (aka JCB, the excavator company), and the organ is now in Guatemala! The organ is known for its unusual repertoire, with many Jazz/Big Band-type arrangements by Marcel Bartier. 1 - Is 't Werkelijk Mijn Schuld? 2 - ? 3 - C'est Si Bon 4 - Hij Wel 5 - La Raspa 6 - Ik Zie Zo Gere M'n Duivekot 7 - Studio B 8 - Ah!
