Looking for a different place to visit in Madeira with kids? 🌿👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 If your family loves nature, open spaces and discovering places away from the usual tourist attractions, Quinta do Santo da Serra could be the perfect place to spend a relaxing morning or afternoon in Madeira. In this video, Madeira Kids takes you above this beautiful green park with spectacular aerial footage captured with the DJI Avata 2 and DJI Neo, giving you a different perspective of one of Madeira’s family-friendly outdoor spaces. 🌳 Quinta do Santo da Serra – A Family Escape in Nature Located in Santo António da Serra, on the eastern side of Madeira Island, Quinta do Santo da Serra is a large public park surrounded by greenery and nature. Originally created in the late 19th century by the Blandy family, the estate has an interesting history and today serves as a public leisure and recreational space. It is particularly popular with local families, school groups and visitors looking for somewhere peaceful to enjoy the outdoors. Families visiting the park can discover animals such as peacocks, deer and Garrano horses, while exploring its gardens and green spaces. The Quinta also features leisure areas including mini-golf, a tennis court and picnic facilities, making it an interesting option for families looking for more than just another sightseeing stop. 🌺 Nature lovers can also enjoy the park's rich vegetation, including exotic plants such as azaleas, rhododendrons and camellias. And there is another reason to explore the Quinta: the views. From its viewpoint, visitors can enjoy beautiful scenery towards Machico, Ponta de São Lourenço and even Porto Santo when visibility allows. ✈️ Visiting Madeira with children?
