Birdsville To Poeppel Corner: My Simpson Desert Adventure Part 1 - MVDBR Enduro #352

While I was parked up at Birdsville in the RV, I made a run for Poeppel Corner on the KTM 690. This 165km jaunt through the Simpson Desert (plus 165km return) covers a lot of the Simpson's sand dunes including Big Red, and also involves crossing the Eyre Creek. In Part 1 I head off into the desert solo and unsupported on this notoriously unreliable model of motorcycle. This content may contain affiliate links.
