August 20th marks Hungary’s National Day—St. Stephen’s Day—celebrating the country’s founding and first king. I joined thousands along the Danube to witness Europe’s most spectacular fireworks, complete with lasers, music, and a breathtaking drone show. Highlights include: ✨ The Parliament lit up as the centerpiece ✨ Fireworks launched from Chain Bridge & Elizabeth Bridge ✨ Drone formations of an angel, the Holy Crown, and a Christian cross ✨ My real struggle getting back across the river afterward!
