Vishnu Narayanan ("Kuttetan") is an affluent plantation owner who leads a carefree, flirtatious bachelor lifestyle away from home at his estate, despite being married to Seetha and living under the strict expectations of his traditional mother. He frequently lies about his age (claiming to be 31) and pursues romantic interests, constantly aided and abetted by his loyal driver, Gopalakrishnan. The Complication with Indu: Vishnu is introduced through local fixers/associates (Nair and Thomas Chacko) to Indu, a young, naive, and destitute girl from a broken family. Vishnu brings her to stay at his estate bungalow under the pretext of supporting her. The Surprise Family Arrival: Unexpectedly, Vishnu's mother, wife Seetha, and father-in-law arrive at the bungalow to visit him. Caught red-handed with Indu in the house, Vishnu invents a major lie to save face: he claims Indu is his secret illegitimate daughter born from a past relationship before his marriage. Emotional Transformation: Instead of breaking the family apart, the revelation touches Seetha and his mother deeply. Longing for a child in the household, Seetha wholeheartedly accepts Indu as her own daughter, and the family showers her with genuine affection and maternal love, officially bringing her back to their ancestral home. Confrontation and Climax: Thomas Chacko and Nair return to take Indu back for commercial exploitation, having spent money on her. However, Vishnu experiences a true moral awakening and a genuine fatherly bond towards Indu. Refusing to let them exploit her, Vishnu offers them money, fights them off to protect Indu, and gets injured in the struggle. Resolution: Vishnu confesses the full truth to Seetha in private. Acknowledging his past flaws and seeking redemption, he resolves to turn his life around.
