One of the highlights of our trip was the thrilling toboggan ride down the wall—an absolute must-try if you’re visiting! It added a fun, adventurous twist to an already unforgettable historical journey. For getting there, we used the DiDi app, and honestly, it made everything smooth and stress-free. Our driver even waited for us, making the return journey back to Beijing super convenient. Ticket purchasing was quick and hassle-free—we bought them on the spot without any issues. However, if you prefer planning ahead, platforms like Klook are also a great option for booking tickets in advance. When it comes to reaching the top, we highly recommend taking the chairlift instead of the cable car. The chairlift gives you open-air views of the lush greenery and rolling hills, making the journey just as exciting as the destination itself. There are also plenty of shops around where tourists can grab souvenirs like panda hoodies, Chinese silk, and chocolates—perfect keepsakes from your trip. And don’t worry about food—there are several international food chains like Pizza Hut and KFC, along with local Chinese cuisine options available near the site.
