Installing race suspension on a 1970 VW off-road race car, learning new tools in the garage, and modifying a 6100 Trophy Truck! Join Julie and me at Parabellum Racecraft as we work on Kashmir, tackle new challenges, share plenty of laughs, and prove that you don't have to be an expert to build something extraordinary. In this 39-minute garage adventure, we're getting Julie's 1970 Volkswagen Class 5/1600 race car, Kashmir, one step closer to hitting the race course again! 🔧 INSTALLING KASHMIR'S NEW REAR RACE SUSPENSION We're working through the installation of Kashmir's new rear suspension, figuring out which parts we still need to order, and learning more about how the suspension system works. Julie gets hands-on experience with new tools, discovers more about her race car, and shares her stories along the way. Between the technical work and our back-and-forth banter, there's no shortage of laughs in this garage! Our goal is to get Kashmir finished, give Julie more seat time, and get her back out on the dirt doing what these cars were built to do: RACE! 🏁 MODIFYING OUR 6100 TROPHY TRUCK While we're making progress on Kashmir, I'm also making a change to our Parabellum Racecraft 6100 Trophy Truck. I'm modifying the rear spare tire mounting system, switching from a flat, lay-down configuration to an upright spare tire storage design. Brett and I prefer this setup based on our experience, and the change gives us another configuration to consider offering our customers. It's another example of how we approach race truck design: build it, test it, evaluate it, and improve it. The best part of building our own race vehicles is having the freedom to experiment, learn from experience, and develop solutions that work for us. 💪 BUILDING WITHOUT LIMITS At Parabellum Racecraft, we believe that building race cars and pursuing your dreams shouldn't be reserved for people with unlimited budgets, years of experience, or a professional crew. You can learn new skills. You can make mistakes. You can figure things out as you go. And you can build something incredible along the way. Whether you're interested in Volkswagen off-road racing, Class 5/1600 race cars, Trophy Truck fabrication, suspension installation, or simply learning to do things you never thought possible, we hope this video inspires you to get into the garage and start working toward your own goals. You don't have to know everything to get started. You just have to be willing to learn. 👇 JOIN THE CONVERSATION! What's your preferred rear spare tire mounting configuration: flat or upright? Let us know in the comments! And if you're working on your own project, tell us what you're building. We'd love to hear about it. 👍 Enjoyed the video? Give it a like, share it with someone working on a project of their own, and stick around for more real-world race car fabrication, off-road racing projects, garage entertainment, and behind-the-scenes adventures. 🏎️ ABOUT PARABELLUM RACECRAFT We're building, modifying, and racing our own vehicles while sharing the knowledge, experiences, and lessons we pick up along the way.
