So, instead of catching a cab, we would walk, with her hand tucked around my arm... towards the mid-westside to her apartment. (warm moments and memories of those many walks to 9th avenue...) Making sure she was safely home and catching up*. I don't remember anything we talked about, but we talked the whole way... 2 friends and the NYC breeze. ] ...You know someone for around 50 years... can't imagine them not being 'here' - Yet, ...you can feel it - They are gone. She is best known for her extensive career performing on Broadway and her award-winning work in theater and dance direction. . Leslie Dockery graduated from the High School of Performing Arts (PA) in New York City. Her formal graduation from the legendary institution solidified her foundational technique in dance and drama, directly propelling her into a career. - Major Career Highlights Broadway Career: She performed in several notable original Broadway productions, including Eubie!
