AFTER 40 YEARS: Visiting My Late Father's Grave & Meeting Our Family | Tausug

After 40 years, we finally came home. The main reason we went back to our father's birthplace was to visit our late father's grave. For so long we wanted to do this, and finally, we were able to stand before him, to pray for him, and to tell him we are okay. It was an emotional one-day visit. We only had one day there, but ALLAH made that one day so meaningful. For the first time in our lives, we finally met our relatives from our father's side. Faces we only heard about in stories are now family we have hugged. And the most touching moment was seeing the sisters-in-law reunite again after so many long years - full of tears, laughter, and stories that never seem to end. Being at our father's resting place and being surrounded by his family made us feel complete. We felt his presence with us. One day was too short. There were still so many stories to share and so many relatives to get to know. So this is not goodbye. we will come back Next time, we will stay longer to truly bond, to laugh more, and to know our roots and our family even deeper.
