In this Episode we are discussing Diabetic retinopathy controversies with a special focus on Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy. We are joined by Dr Mohamed Ashraf El Masry, Retina specialist in Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, USA and also a lecturer of Ophthalmology in Alexandria University in Egypt. We are presenting various cases of diabetic retinopathy and how to manage and discussing some literature evidence. We are filming in the Alexandria Icare Retina Reading Center (AIRRC). A specialised Ultra-wide field images reading center with special focus on diabetic retinopathy. The AIRRC is supervised by Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, USA.
