Is This Britain's Most Brutal Bike Race?

Three mountains, three sketchy descents and a whole load of carrying your bike. This is the 3 Peaks Cyclocross, now in its 62nd edition, and it's the hardest race I do every year. 61km round Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent in the Yorkshire Dales. I threw away 39 places on one descent, clawed most of them back on the climbs, then had to race a fan of the channel in a sprint finish! Thanks as always to the organisers and marshals for a great event, and ill be back for more next year.
