A Walk Through Saluda, NC with Betty Anna Thompson Brown

Take a walk through Saluda, NC via the memory of Betty Anna Thompson Brown, a local Saluda girl. She is the daughter of Richard and Atlas Johnson Thompson, Jr. and granddaughter of local builder Luther Thompson and Alice Cantrell Thompson. She graduated from Saluda High School, Brevard College, Appalachian State and Western Carolina, with degrees in radio, television and criminal justice. She met her husband Joe Brown at a local basketball game. She was an English teacher for 45 years and her husband retired from Bigelow-Sanford after 51 years.
