This Catholic Night Prayer after Evening Prayer I is a peaceful time to slow down, examine your heart, ask for God’s mercy, release every burden, and place your life completely into His hands. Whatever happened today—whether you experienced joy, disappointment, fear, stress, temptation, uncertainty, or pain—you do not have to carry it into the night. Give it to Jesus. As we pray, let these words become your prayer: “Into your hands, Lord, I commend my spirit.” Ask the Lord to forgive your sins, protect your family, guard your home, calm your mind, strengthen your faith, and give you peaceful rest.
