We headed down to Ship Creek in Anchorage to experience the salmon run with the whole family. We showed up thinking catching a salmon would be easy, and we were wrong. It took us about a day just to figure out what flossing even was, but once it clicked, we ended up landing a couple. We rented all of our tackle from The Bait Shop, right along the river on Ship Creek. They were super helpful and the pricing was great, especially for the 24 hour rental.
