AIDS deaths surge in Russia as global health officials say, 'They did it all wrong'

Central Asia and Eastern Europe have the world’s fastest growing HIV epidemic, and Russia accounts for more than 80 percent of those infections. As at-risk groups like injection drug users are stigmatized and ignored, health officials say the death toll will soon top 30,000 lives per year.
