10 Things I Learned About Praying for Healing | My Personal Journey With God

What have I learned about praying for healing after walking through my own journey with God? Praise God — Psalm 100 5. Rebuke Fear — 2 Timothy 1:7 6. Be Honest With God — Psalm 62:8 7. Listen to God — John 10:27 8. Obey God — James 1:22 9. Be Consistent in Prayer — Luke 18:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:17 10. Meditate on God's Word — Psalm 138:2; Joshua 1:8 One of the important things I learned is that after we repent, we must also receive and accept God's forgiveness instead of continuing to condemn ourselves. 1 John 1:9 NKJV says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” If you are believing God for healing, I pray that this message will encourage you to keep drawing near to Him, trust His Word, and continue walking with Him through your journey.
