An early version of Un Porro con Ramón, recorded months before Maite and Ramón took the piece into the studio in Havana. Ramón Valle and Maite Hontelé perform Un Porro con Ramón live at Paradox in Tilburg on 8 September 2024, during one of their first concerts as a duo. Playful, spontaneous and rooted in a slow cumbia groove, Un Porro con Ramón is a festive musical conversation between piano and flugelhorn. The piece was later recorded in Havana in early 2025 for Ramón and Maite’s first duo album, Havana, released by IN+OUT Records in September 2025.
