Parry - Eventide (Chorale prelude on "Abide with Me")

Ideas for Funeral Music Hubert Parry - Eventide This chorale prelude on "Abide with Me" was composed by Parry during World War I in around 1916. Similar in style to many of Bach's works it provides a beautiful accompaniment to the well known hymn. It is suitable for use both before or as a finale to a service. The recording was made using an iPhone close to the player, so all the mechanical noises from the keys are audible (which will be less in evidence when listening within the body of the building).
