କୋରାପୁଟ ସହରରେ ଅଭାବନୀୟ ଘଟଣା। DNK ରୋଡ୍ ସ୍ଥିତ ଏକ ଲଜରୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧ ଦମ୍ପତିଙ୍କ ଝୁଲନ୍ତା ମୃତଦେହ ଉଦ୍ଧାର। ମୃତକ ଦାମନଯୋଡ଼ି ସେକ୍ଟର-୩ ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ବିଜୟ କୁମାର ଡାକୁଆ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ପତ୍ନୀ ବିଜୟଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ଡାକୁଆ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରାଥମିକ ସୂଚନାରୁ ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି। ମିଳିଥିବା ସୂଚନା ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ଉଭୟେ ଆଜି ସକାଳେ ମେଡିକାଲ୍ ଚେକ୍ ଅପ୍ ପାଇଁ ପୁଅ ସହ କୋରାପୁଟ ଆସିଥିଲେ। ଚେକ୍ ଅପ୍ ପରେ ଦମ୍ପତି ଶାନ୍ତି ଲଜରେ ରହିଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ମଧ୍ୟାହ୍ନ ଭୋଜନ ପରେ ଉଭୟେ ରୁମ୍ ଭିତରେ ଝୁଲି ପଡ଼ିଥିବା ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି। ପୋଲିସ ଘଟଣାସ୍ଥଳରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ଉଭୟଙ୍କ ମୃତଦେହକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଛି। An elderly couple was found hanging inside a lodge on DNK Road in Koraput town. The deceased have been identified as Vijay Kumar Dakua and his wife Vijayalakshmi Dakua from Sector-3 of Damanjodi, according to preliminary information. The couple had reportedly come to Koraput with their son for a medical check-up and stayed at Shanti Lodge after the check-up.
