Improvised on June 14, 2026 and based on the hymn tune LASST UNS ERFREUEN (mit Alleluias) originating from Germany in 1623 and used as a setting of the text "All Creatures of our God and King" (St. Francis of Assisi), as well "Ye Watchers and Ye Holy Ones". I've attempted to create a thematic dialogue in the double pedaling under a "carillon" style foil in the manuals. The quieter middle section brings the themes of the tune over a pedal line based on the descending scale of the "alleluia" as it builds to the recap. The organ is an Aeolian-Skinner (Op. 57 with the 3 manual console from Op. 67), with tonal restoration and enhancements by Steuart Goodwin and Ryan Ballantyne of R.M Ballantyne Pipe Organs, Jurupa Valley CA. I hope you enjoy!
