THE 1987 LUDHIANA BANK HEIST | नकली पुलिस ने लूटा पूरा बैंक! 1987 की सबसे बड़ी डकैती | KahaniYT

‪@KahaniYT-q1g‬ On February 12, 1987, a group of armed men dressed as Punjab Police officers entered a Punjab National Bank branch in Ludhiana. Nearly two hours later, ₹5.7 crore had disappeared without a single shot being fired. This was the 1987 Ludhiana Bank Robbery, one of the largest and most extraordinary bank heists in Indian history. But the most surprising part of the robbery was not the amount stolen. The robbers reportedly ignored ₹10 crore in fresh currency and deliberately selected older banknotes. Why would anyone leave behind so much money? In this true crime documentary, we explore the planning, execution, investigation, and aftermath of the notorious Punjab National Bank robbery. The story takes us deep into Punjab during the turbulent 1980s, revealing the alleged involvement of General Labh Singh, a former Punjab Police constable who later became a commander of the Khalistan Commando Force (KCF). From police impersonation and stolen currency to the CBI investigation and decades of courtroom proceedings, this case reveals how an elaborate robbery became connected to a much larger chapter of Indian history.
