This video covers the 19 questions on recent American history in the 2025 civics test, questions 100 to 118 of the 128. You will hear about the wars of the 1900s, why the United States entered World War I and World War II, when women got the right to vote, the Great Depression and the 1929 crash, the Cold War, the Korean and Vietnam wars, the civil rights movement and Martin Luther King, Jr., the Persian Gulf War, and September 11, 2001.
You will also hear about Dwight Eisenhower, American Indian tribes and American innovations. Each question is read aloud in English twice, followed by a 5-second pause. Answer out loud during the pause, just like in the real interview, then listen to the accepted answers and a short explanation. When a question has several accepted answers, the voice tells you how many you need.
