SoCal VFR KFUL to KAVX flight with the parental units in a Cessna 172 (w/ ATC Audio)

Dedicated to my dad...Mario Ronquillo Molina 7.14.1959 - 6.16.2020 Looking back to 2015 when I first got my pilot's license, I decided to take my mom, dad and mother-in-law to Catalina for a great bison burger...just to find out that right after departure, KAVX was closed due to a disabled plane on the runway. We circled the island anyway and just headed back to Fullerton. Seems like they still had a great time. I even let my dad take the controls for a bit before my mom shut it down real quick.
