Martial Artists: Use THIS Ninjutsu Kata Against a Front Kick! Kasame Dori (Class Notes 01-27-25)

Karame Dori is a Classical Shoden Level Kata from Takagi Yoshin Ryu. The classical kata deals with a person kicking you while you are kneeling. In this video we are going to look at a Henka (or variation) of this that we can use when standing. There is some very tricky hand placement and body movement in this kata but it results in a complete turning around of the attacker. We also look at some of the common pitfalls that students see.
