AAP Punjab के MLA Jouramajra Pathanmajra BJP में शामिल | Punjab में BJP का Operation Lotus शुरू?

A day after the Aam Aadmi Party released its first list of 40 candidates for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections, two of its MLAs quit the party. Chetan Singh Jouramajra from Samana, a former minister in the Bhagwant Mann government, and Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra from Sanaur resigned on November 1. At a press conference in Chandigarh, they launched a series of allegations against their own government, over the drug crisis, the death of Gulzar Singh, the police taking away the body of a youth in Mansa, the appearance of AAP MLAs and ministers before the Akal Takht, Punjab’s mounting debt, and the role of Arvind Kejriwal and his aide Bibhav Kumar in running the state. A day later, both joined the BJP along with Amritsar North MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh. In this video, we break down what was said at the press conference and the facts behind each allegation, along with the questions facing the rebels themselves. We also look at AAP’s first candidate list, why no serving cabinet minister except CM Mann made it, why jailed former minister Sanjeev Arora got a ticket, and why the party announced candidates so early. We also cover how AAP, the Congress, the Akali Dal and the BJP have reacted, and why defectors matter so much to the BJP in Punjab.
