Welcome back to Lil Craft! 🚢🔨 In Chapter 6 of THE GOLDEN STICK ship-building project, we finally begin one of the most exciting stages — planking the ship’s hull. After completing the inner framework, it’s time to start transforming the skeleton of the ship into a recognizable hull using wooden planks and plenty of patience. In this episode, I’ll carefully measure, cut, shape, and glue the planks onto the ship’s framework. Each plank needs to follow the curves of the hull while maintaining a smooth and consistent shape. This process takes time, precision, sanding, and a lot of glue, but slowly the ship begins to come to life. 🔨 In this chapter: • Preparing the wooden planks • Measuring and cutting each plank • Shaping the planks to follow the hull • Gluing the planks onto the framework • Checking alignment and spacing • Building the ship hull step by step This is a long journey, but every plank brings THE GOLDEN STICK one step closer to becoming a finished model ship.
