This is the final video of my "How To Land" Trilogy where I teach you how to land a helicopter in ARMA 3. In this helicopter landing guide, I will explain how to smooth out your helicopter landings by knowing when to "glide" and how to control your speed during the glide. I am confident you can learn how to land a helicopter like I do by following my techniques. IMPORTANT!!! Now that you have the knowledge, you must practice in order to become proficient in your technique. And there's a difference between practicing in a static envoirnament and a dynamic one, where enemy are shooting at you in various weather conditions, so that is why I'm recommending the BEST STEAM dlc to practice in and that Chisel's LZ Trainer, found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile... So, why is this the BEST one Grumpy? Easy, it allows you to practice your landings ANYWHERE on Altis, under any weather/environmental condition, against a user selectable amount of enemy forces AND, YOU can choose your LZ! This is the key because now you can test new LZ's, prior to trying them in game. I did this for hours in Eden, but without enemy forces firing at me. This feature is a game changer and sets Chisel's dlc above all the others...full stop! It doesn't end there, he's added a feature that lets you review each landing using different replay cameras so you can see where you screwed up or how the hell you greased that landing.
